It's monday and my desk is filled with bills to be paid and all that non-fun stuff of life.

It really is not fun at all.

It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it.

Saturday nights used to stand for Mega Parties

Coupled with a proper dress up

and a full face on...

Lately, our saturday nights stand for Seinfeld

Sitting on the couch

and laughing our asses off...

That'll be all :)

I did something this morning that surprised even myself
An eyelash was prettily sitting on my cheek
I lifted it gently
Placed it on the back of my palm
Closed my eyes
Made a wish
And blew it off into the Universe

Yes, I'm keeping my childlike innocence alive

The King loves fresh ham.
So, I decided to get him a nice, fresh assortment of spicy salami, cured chorizo and barbeque ham.
Coupled with gorgonzola cheese and a nice bottle of wine.
The twinkle in his eye as he saw the assortment was a thank you enough.
Some evenings are just worth savouring and remembering.

Over the last couple of days I've started blogging again
And I am loving it again
I am so glad I didn't delete this blog
I went back and read so many of my old posts
It reminded me of days both good and bad
But most importantly it reminded me that no matter what
I survived and blossomed through the experiences
So, I'm back to blogging

There was a woman
A woman I adored
A woman I could speak to and pour my heart out to like a mother
The relationship was wonderful
Until
The incident happened
and now I can't bear to look at her
She reminds me of that day and everything she didn't do to correct it

The last couple of months have had more than their fair share of ups and downs

At times, I wasn't sure we'd make it

But we're standing here now at the brink of four wonderful years together

And I know now despite the pain and the heartache, that I'd do it all over again
