The dreaded and much anticipated New Years Eve was pretty perfect and quirky in my Queendom.

Jack, my friend (Jack Daniels) joining us on the celebrations with pizza...

But I am thrilled to announce that no one turned into rags or pumpkins at the stroke of midnight in my Queendom.

I choose to be introspective.

Sitting here I think of the year gone by and the lessons it taught me.

It taught me to be More Patient
More Understanding
More Loving
More Forgiving
More Careful

I made some harsh decisions which I will need to live by for the rest of my life.
But those decisions also brought me so much closer to the people I love in my life.

2009 taught me to let go of my past - a cumulative effect of 2008

2009 brought me so much closer to the people that I love in my life.

2009 was the year of change for me.

Its time to thank 2009 for everything and bid it farewell

Tonight at the stroke of midnight, I will let out a little prayer of gratitude and pray for a well-done 20-10.

I hope you send the message out to the Universe too.

Yesterday a stranger made my day.

My brother organised a surprise for me from over the seven seas...

I was gifted the original "Art of Avatar - the movie" coffee table book.

And along with that came a goody bag filled with Avatar merchandise.

You should have seen my eyes glee and glow with happiness.

I felt like such a child and princess.

A Queen is but a princess after all.

I have been tagged by Sir Ramit  (Not yet knighted in my court) to disclose my seven deadly sins.

Well he didn't say it in those words, but largely to disclose seven things about me that you may not know.

In my endeavour to keep the People happy, here it goes...

1. Queenmatrai is a pun of my real last name.
2. The Man that coined the term barely knew me a few days before deciding it was apt for me.
3. I love diamonds and other things Queenly.
4. This is my 4th blog.
5. 'That'll Be All' is a phrase that Chakraviyuh coined for me.
6. I am not afraid of death but am afraid of the process of dying.
7. I see Spirits.

This year, the Universe has just decided to spew out the worst.
My driver decided to bang into the car in front of us this morning which made me fly through the car.
Just as I got myself back on the seat
BAM
A scooter came and hit me from the back.

Oh well, I guess it could have been worse!

I'll just say this once more...
